I rediscovered my silly circa 2022 while reading picture books to my daughter. In 2023 I challenged myself to write one silly children's poem per day for a month. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up writing sixty, including Here's to the Silly Ones. I’m so grateful to have discovered kidlit.

Before this leg of my journey I spent years as an advertising creative director. Now I'm back in school for an early childhood education degree with a K-3 certification. I’ve really found my niche!
